FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LOUISVILLE, KY (Sep. 8, 2010) – The world's leading cyclo-olefin polymer (COP) resins will be used to demonstrate new compact injection blow-molding equipment from Jomar Corporation at the K2010 trade show in Düsseldorf, Germany October 27 - November 3, 2010. Zeon's ZEONEX® and ZEONOR® COPs provide glasslike transparency and purity for a wide range of medical applications.
Transparency, high moisture barrier and ultra-low extractables make ZEONEX and ZEONOR resins ideal for use in vials and tubes for medical and biopharmaceutical applications, including blood tubes and drug packaging. The COPs offer superior purity and barrier properties to polycarbonates and polypropylene while eliminating problems with glass breakage and leaching.
Zeon’s COPs will be showcased in a demonstration of Jomar’s compact Model 20 injection blow-molding machine at their booth (Hall 14, Stand A32).
